AMSTERDAM, Feb 14 (Reuters) – NN Group, the largest Dutch insurer, on Thursday reported lower-than-expected operating results of 343 million euros ($386.70 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31.

“Improvements” at its Dutch and Japanese life insurance operations were offset by lower results in its asset management business, the company said.

Analysts polled for Reuters had expected operating results from ongoing business at 359 million euros, compared with 345 million euros in the same period of 2017.
